The rules for using the EZ Tutor website and mobile apps, including how subscriptions and one-off purchases work.
EZ Tutor ("we", "us") is a UK-based education service at www.eztutor.co.uk and via our iOS and Android apps. By creating an account, buying a plan, or otherwise using the website or apps, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You agree not to:
All questions, explanations, worked solutions, diagrams, and other materials are owned by EZ Tutor and protected by copyright. While your plan is active we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use them for your own (or your child's/students') study. This licence ends if your plan lapses or your account is closed.
Some 11 plus products are one-off purchases that grant access for a fixed period (for example, a Full Mock, or 6- or 12-month access). These do not auto-renew; access simply ends when the period expires, and you may buy again to continue.
On the website, payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. In the mobile apps, purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play.
EZ Tutor GCSE is offered as an auto-renewable subscription. The following terms apply (and, in the apps, billing is handled by Apple or Google):
On the website, the same subscription is billed via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
For purchases made through the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licensed-application end-user licence agreement also applies: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
For website (Stripe) purchases, contact info@eztutor.co.uk. For in-app purchases, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies, as we cannot process those on your behalf.
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update content, features, and pricing over time. Material changes to these Terms will be notified to registered users by email; the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
EZ Tutor is a study aid. We do not guarantee any particular exam result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
